2. Description of Service

Xidid is a sovereign, secure platform helping Somali families and communities map abtirsi lineages, preserve historical oral histories, and coordinate community/clan fund systems transparently. Certain features, including voting and elder approvals, depend on lineage structure and consensus.

3. User Conduct & Accuracy

You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information during registration. When submitting lineage claims or oral history testimonies, you agree to act in good faith. False or deliberately misleading genealogical submissions may result in account restriction by the elder quorum or administration.

4. Sovereignty & PII Data

We believe in user sovereignty over personal history and lineage. The lineage data you link forms part of the collective community tree. You retain control over your own profile privacy settings, but shared genealogical relationships (e.g. connections between parents and children) are collective nodes governed by community consensus.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Xidid is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operations, nor do we certify the absolute historical accuracy of all community-curated lineage data.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page and notifying active accounts.
